Who we are
Rendezra is a product of Secure Pipeline, the trading name of Cian Cavanagh, a sole trader based at Main Street, Easkey, Co. Sligo, F26 R642, Ireland. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.
For any privacy question or request, email cian@rendezra.com. We aim to reply within one month, as the GDPR requires.
What we collect and why
| Where it comes from | What we collect | Why we use it | Lawful basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sponsorship audit | Name, work email, company, the event and figures you enter, your consent and when you gave it, IP address (for rate limiting only) | To send your full audit and follow up about it | Consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) |
| Business outreach | Name, job title, company, work email, public LinkedIn profile, from business data providers and public sources | To contact you about services relevant to your role | Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Calls and email replies | Your messages, call notes and, where you agree at the start, call recordings | To run the conversation and any work we agree | Steps towards a contract, or legitimate interests |
| This website | Basic technical and usage data, such as pages visited | To run and improve the site | Legitimate interests |
We only contact people at work, about their work. Every outreach email tells you how to opt out, and we stop as soon as you ask. We do not sell personal data or use it for automated decisions with legal effects.
Who we share it with, and for how long
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf under contract:
- Supabase: database, hosted in the EU (Ireland)
- Render: hosting for this tool (Frankfurt, Germany)
- Email and outreach tools for sending and managing email
- Slack: internal alerts when an audit is completed
- Scheduling and call tools when you book or join a call
Some providers are based in the United States. Where data leaves the EEA, we rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Retention. We keep audit and outreach data for 12 months from our last contact with you, then delete it. Client data is kept for as long as the contract runs and as long as tax and legal rules require afterwards. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- see the personal data we hold about you
- correct it
- delete it
- restrict or object to how we use it, including stopping all outreach
- give you a copy in a portable format
- withdraw your consent, without affecting anything done before
Email cian@rendezra.com to make a request. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
Changes. We will update this policy when how we use data changes, and change the date at the top.
